Health and safety
We ensure that personnel are exposed, practice and conform to company and OSH Act 85 of 1993 -health and safety guidelines and regulations
- We ensure the construction and maintenance of services conforms to relevant standards, ensuring smooth handing over of final product
- We are committed to ensuring that the cargo of our customers reaches all destination safely and without any setbacks. The health and safety of all our employees is very important to us. In this regard, extensive occupational Health and Safety procedures have been implemented, and all Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
- We have implemented a strict No Alcohol and Drug Policy, and random checks are implemented on all personnel. A policy of “No Tolerance” is enforced.
- We have developed policies that will manage specific journey related risks such as night time driving- fatigue, use of higher-risk routes and areas, irregular weather conditions, etc, and put in place procedures to control all known and unknown risks.
- We Plan journeys to ensure safe working hours are maintained and that drivers are rested to avoid tiredness and fatigue.
- We implement a Vehicle and Journey Authority procedure to control the use of transport assets. This will help ensure the allocation of appropriate vehicles for each task, and that drivers are approved and qualified for the type of vehicle they are using
